TCL to stop making the BlackBerry Handsets

BlackBerry Handsets It is time again, to say goodbye to BlackBerry phones. TCL, A Chinese tech company, which manufacturing the BlackBerry Mobiles, is going to close shop on the line of phones. TCL announced on Monday Morning through a tweet from the BlackBerry Mobile Twitter account. That TCL will stop selling BlackBerry phones as of Aug. 31. But, company will continue support for previously sold device till August 2022.  It was December 2016, when TCL made a deal to license Blackberry phones. And first phone came in market the BlackBerry KeyOne, in 2017. Further, it’s much-improved version the BlackBerry Key2, came in market the following year. But, Last year, BlackBerry Mobile stopped any further release of Key3.

China Become the number one supercomputer manufacture

China tops the US as the number one supercomputer manufacturer
China no longer houses the world’s top computer, but it does pump out more supercomputers than the US. China wins on quantity: Top500 has released its semi-annual list of the 500 most powerful supercomputers on the planet. Chinese firms made the machines in 206 of those, and for the first time, the leading supercomputer manufacturer is not a US company.

China’s Lenovo takes home that prize; it made nearly 24 percent of the machines on the list. US back in the top spot: An American computer topped the list for the first time since 2012 with the announcement of Summit two weeks ago (see “The world’s most powerful supercomputer is tailor made for the AI era”).

That’s a big shift from last year, when America struggled to beat the Chinese-based Sunway TaihuLight. Why it matters: Although the US can boast the number one spot, the decline of American machines in the ranking is striking. Just six months ago the country had 145 supercomputers on the list; it’s now down to a new low of 124.

1. Unwillingly wasting other’s time.
When you’re late to an appointment or meeting, what you’re really saying is that your time is more important. When you wait until the grocery clerk finishes ringing you up to search for your debit card, you’re really saying you can’t care less if others have to wait.

Small, irritating things, but basically no big deal. People who don’t notice the small ways they inconvenience others tend to be oblivious when they do it in major ways.
How you treat people when it doesn’t really matter – especially when you’re a leader — says a lot about you. Behave as if the people around you have more urgent needs than yours and you will never go wrong… and you will definitely be liked.
2. Asking for way too much.
A guy you don’t know asking for a big favor, a time-consuming favor. You politely decline. He asks again. You decline again softly. Then he brings out the need card, That it’s really important to him. You have to do it.

In fact, he really needy and maybe we do it. But our needs are our problems. The world doesn’t owe us anything. We aren’t entitled to advice or mentoring or success. The only thing we’re entitled to is what we earn.

People tend to help people who first help themselves. And people definitely befriend people who look out for other people first, because we all want more of those people in our lives.
3. Ignoring people in genuine need.
We find around ourselves, Some people aren’t in a position to help themselves. They need helping hand, a few money, some decent food, or a warm coat.

I do strongly believe good things always come back to us in the form of good feelings about our-self. And that’s strong reasoning to help other people who find themselves on the downside of advantage. We always keep eye open to find such opportunity to help others to get back good feels and prayers.

I find it ironic that when I ask managers, even to successful ones, what constitutes Managership, I often get vague, disparate, and vapid responses. It is difficult to think about educated and successful population could offer crisp and concrete definitions of their own crucial work, Influencing manager.

From many years I am working, how can help to managers to increase their capacity for influencing change. But it is very IMPORTANT that prior to helping they educate how to become influencer, they need more attention on their core work expertise. Core Expertise is corner stone for success in increasing influence.

Here are some key points to increase your influence.

Managers act as Part of Team.

Most Managers put a great deal of time into designing strategy, selection of right and winning products, proper engagement with team of analysts, shareholders and customers. Instead of all this, only very few managers realize the success or failure of their major projects lies in influencing the behavior of the people who will have to execute on the big ideas.

The most influential Managers, are only around 5% who succeed at changing behavior of people. By spending as much as half of their time thinking about it, and actively, influencing the behaviors they know will lead to top performance. The remaining 95% who fail tend to delegate what they wanted as “change management” to others.

Personal involvement and brain storming is key part of success of any project. So become an influencing manager, one should be take part with team in major activities.

Managers Knowledge about theory of influence

Managers should be very much clear about the theory of  change management and methods to become influencer. A very few managers can answer the questions, “How do you change the behavior of a large group of people?” what they’re ultimately paid to do is align people to execute on decisions. Imagine the process, How anesthesia is taking effect? During, your bypass operation, when your heart surgeon is hovering over your chest with a scalpel, and it stop working a “gut hunch” about how to conduct a bypass. Managers should adopt expressive about a repeatable and effective way to influence behavior. Otherwise, they’ll continue to add up predictably high failure rates at leading change. Influencing manager  should be well aware the knowledge and theory of change management.

Managers Strong talking with influencing

Many managers think influence consists of little more than talking people into doing things. There is no doubt most influence efforts start with slide presentations, lectures and group discussion. But profound, persistent, and overwhelming problems demand more than verbal communications. If managers are not so strong in practical, then their verbal communications will be confused and will make shaken their influence on people.

Managers believe in Gound reality.

Sometimes managers actually attempt to influence new behavior, they commonly fall into the trap of thinking that deep rooted bad habits can be changed with a single method or technique.

They hand out inspiring posters and believe that people will line up and ready for change. But  there is another believe, it’s all about incentives and benefits, so they can play with the performance management system or start new behaviors to executive bonuses. Different research shows that when managers depend on just single method or source of influence including training or incentives or verbal persuasion to drive change, they almost always fail. To get fruitful and positive results, managers should adopt combination of different methods and techniques to get maximum results.

Over the past 15+ years, I have sought out and studied a different kind of managers and researches. I have found these remarkable abilities to influence change, fast and rapidly, profoundly and sustainable. By adopting these methods, managers can be good influences and will be able to build a good team.

What we’ve learned is that when you know what you’re doing, change can happen relatively quickly. And it all starts with gaining greater clarity about what leadership really means, then finding a way of thinking about the fundamental principles of influence.

Anti-Virus Maker Avast to Acquire AVG for $1.3 Billion

Avast Announces Agreement to Acquire AVG for $1.3B
Two popular antivirus software companies Avast and AVG, have similar sounding names, with both having the “AV” in their names.

Avast, an industry-leading and the most trusted security software in the world, and AVG Technologies, developing software for mobile and PC device security applications, It is announced that they both entered into a purchase agreement,  Avast offers the ordinary shares of AVG for $25.00 per share in cash, for which total amount will be  approximately $1.3B. Both companies founded in the Czech Republic in the late 1980s, and now will be combining their strengths to position Avast for continued growth in the security industry.
Transaction Detail
The transaction is structured as  offered price is of $25.00 per share in cash. Avast plans to finance the transaction using cash balances on hand and remaining amount will be lended from  Suisse Securities, Jefferies and UBS Investment Bank. In addition, Avast has contributed $150 million in equity investment to fund the transaction.
